The Tiny Tots Area
Welcome to the Tiny Tots Area, this group consists of the 2 - 3 year olds, the children are under the staff ratio of 1:4.
The Toddler Room Staff: Bridget Buswell, Natalie Silvester, Michelle Ash and Danielle Statham.
This unit is provided for across one large area, we carefully plan activities based on your child's interests promoting their development, there are many opportunities for your child to choose a variety of curriculum based activities indoor and outdoor. Your child will improve language and literacy skills through interaction with other staff and children.
Each child will have a key person carer that they can easily relate to, who will guide them through a range of activities during the nursery day which will include the option of free choice. The staff will be encouraging each child with confidence, independence, personal hygiene and social skills. The key person is also responsible for their developmental folder and learning journey, which can be viewed by you at any time.
When your child is nearly three years of age, visits are arranged for them to spend a morning or afternoon in the preschool room to help them become more familiar with the staff, other children and the day to day routine.
