About Us

De Verdun Children's Day Nursery is a family owned and run business operating in the centre of a thriving village community.
Jo Walsh, the Officer in charge, is a qualified Health Visitor with many years' experience of working with children and their families.
Our qualified staff place great emphasis of providing a happy, stimulating and caring environment
in order to meet the individual needs of each child and their family.
We operate an 'open door' policy to parents who are welcomed into the Nursery at any time. We recognise that parents must have total confidence in the Nursery placement they have chosen for their child, and they will clearly benefit from the comfort of knowing that they are an important part of the Nursery "team"
Our aim is work in close partnership with parents to provide continuity of care and good communication to ensure that each child feels safe, happy and confident in our care. The Nursery holds regular Partnership Parents evenings and encourages parents to take an active interest in the Nursery provision and it's development.
There is ample off-road car parking for safe delivery and collection.
